MINVANT

Minvant (waning) refers to te best moon phase to labour the land. As sap lower in this cycle, vines are less sensitive to fungus and insect attacks and likewise wine becomes more stable. This old vine carignan grows in low yield terraces aiming for a long ripening season, always synonym to high fruitiness, spices and minerality in carignan wines.

For the design we wanted to show the waning cycle of the moon without being too literal, escaping from the typical image of the satellite. We imagined a bottle that simulated the surface of the moon, with one side receiving light and the other remaining in the dark. The name of the wine is thus half hidden, yet still maintaining its visibility and legibility thanks to an embossed UVI finish and a contrasting gradient.
